Ego (I in Greek)

Growing up, I dreamed I would become a ballerina. I danced from age 3 through 13. I gave it up for basketball. Somewhere in between, my dream was to become the first woman in Major League Baseball.

After realizing girls were relegated to softball, I opted for the court. I mention such memories because the red ruffle dress I wear in the photo adjacent conjures them in me (old photo no longer here). They were a significant portion of my cor (heart in Latin) age 4 through 17.

University whisked away all dreams of movement. Ever since, it’s been a push and pull. New dreams have found me though…

When I find the time and materials, I like to tinker with metal, hydrangeas, clay if I’m close to a kiln, and more recently, photography, design, videography, and sewing.

New Orleans born, NYC raised, and Greece drawn-I have come to notice that my biggest commitment issue is to place – it has felt impossible to plant roots.

The next year I hope to change this quality…(written in 2024).

2024 began my year in Charleston, SC, 2025 was perhaps the most uprooted I have been, and UPDATE! in 2026 I find myself settled in my hometown, eager to participate in revealing all it has in store for me.
